LARS Towed Sonars
Henriksen LARS for Towed Sonars consists of a complete system for launch and recovery of the sonar plus active winch control during towing for constant depth or height over seabed control. The system has an integrated stowed-position-bed for safe transport of the sonar during transit. It's lightweight and completely unmanned, and very suitable for USV operations.
LARS Dipping Sonar
Henriksen onboard LARS for Dipping Sonars consist of a heave compensated winch that enables the sonar to have a constant dept once deployed. The system can operate of the side, aft or through a moon pool of a USV. It has an integrated stowed-position-bed for safe transport of the sonar during transit. The system is lightweight and completely unmanned, and very suitable for USV operations.
LARS Towed Array
Henriksen onboard LARS for Towed Arrays consists of two winches. One actively controlled winch for the depressor to get variable depth of the antenna, and one winch for the antenna and tow cable. The system can incorporate a large diameter main drum for the array and yet still have a low centre of gravity, making the system ideal for USVs.
