Transport Tools
The HEMLIS Launch and Recovery consists of all the different components that is needed to deploy and retrieve the HEMLIS sweep. The tools enabling transportation have both offshore and onshore deployment and retrieval capabilities making it very versatile for operators. It consist of the following equipment:
Main Cable Winch:
For the HEMLIS main cable(s) one or two winches is required to deploy or retrieve the main cables. The winches are made in aluminium and can be both hydraulic or electrically driven.
Loop Cable Winch:
For a closed loop HEMLIS setup a loop cable winch is required. It holds the loop cable and is made in aluminium and can be both hydraulic or electrically driven.
LARS for Acoustic Source:
To deploy and retrieve the HEMLIS Acoustic source a crane with integrated support bed for the source is needed. The LARS is of a A-frame design and made of aluminium and can be both hydraulic or electrically driven.
Buoyancy Rack:
The HEMLIS buoyancy rack is a dedicated rack for the buoyancy elements for the sweep. The rack will ensure a safe and fast deployment and retrieval of the buoyancy elements.
Towing Hook:
The Henriksen Towing Hook is made for safe and effective towing operations. We custom make hooks and adapters to accommodate any placement. We can also provide custom links / rings for specific uses.
